up..I can sometimes get two hats out of a ball of Paton's merino...but I knit more than crochet, and crochet does use more yarn..but then, I do alot of cable work, and THAT takes more yarn than plain knitting. Erm..Paton's has big balls? I think I confused myself a bit. It's a nice hat and Bob does look spiffy. Bob is lucky to have you, I think.
Here's a face shot! I think he looks cute wearing it. Plus he said it kept his head warm when he was scraping the ice off the car windows today
