A great blog, for us in love with crock pot cooking

I am in love with crockpot cooking. Nothing like putting in a bunch of stuff, putting the lid on and leaving. Only to come home to a wonderful meal and having the house smell so good, but not be hot! So imagine my delight when I found this blog
http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/
imagine a year of using your crock pot every day!!! I have tried out several recipes from this blog already
Crockpot breakfast risotto... mmm, mine turned out like applesauce oatmeal, but MUCH better. And Crockpot bacon and cheese chicken... It was soo good I had to force myself and Bobby to stop eating it so Bob could have some for supper last night. Next I plan on following the directions/recipe for crockpot lasagne! Maybe I can try out most of the recipes... beats trying to figure out what to make, I could just follow along with her recipes.....

I think I am a foodie

Ok, for the last several months I have been watching the Food Channel like crazy. Now I find myself looking at food/recipe blogs... Yummmyyy. So I have decided to post some of my family's favorite recipes.

Breakfast caserole with gravy

1 pound of turkey sausage

1 bag of frozen southern style hashbrowns, 2 pounds worth

1 small onion diced

2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

1/2 can of milk

8 eggs

8 ounces of cheese.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

cook sausage and onion until well done. Add some garlic if you like garlic

pour frozen hashbrowns into 9X13 baking pan

Mix eggs, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and the half of can of milk together.

when sausage and onions are cooked drain grease, then pour over potatoes. Then pour the liquid ingrediants on top. Top with cheese. Bake in the preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Let sit for a while. It will still be kinda runny, but thats the gravy.
